Associations

Object associations are the conceptual or intangible things that you know or learn about an object. Examples are people or organizations that had to do with the object (the manufacturer, donor, author, original owner), places the object has been (manufactured location, provenance), or dates associated with the object (period of use).

Fields include:

Person, the person associated with the object.

Place, the place associated with the object.

Begin date, the beginning of the date range, or the only date associated.

End date, the end of the date range associated with the object.

Assocation type describes how the object is associated (a person might be an author, a location might be where the object was created).

Associated information describes in detail (if necessary) what the assocation is.
