The Gibsons Heritage Advisory Commission was formed in 2001. Chris Marshall (chrismarshall@town.gibsons.bc.ca) is town planner and is chair.

The board of directors is as follows: Stephen Hanneman, Elaine Jackson, Barry Janyk, Robert Nygren, Judith Reeves, David Short and Tom Lavis.

About 10 buildings have been documented.

Bob Nygren is the rep from the museum. He has an old foolscap of buildings (heritage) that the museum thought were important. The town printed out forms, he has some and is working on a project to collect info.
