Look at each organization and find a hook - the special thing that will make people want to go there.

How about specific sections for cultures (possible funding avenue here... multiculturalism). Japanese, chinese.
Expand into other areas, natural history (Vancouver Aquarium...) geology, hiking (link with trails).

Proactively look for heritage achival material: Farmer's Institute for e.g. How about the Town of Gibsons? SCRD? Sechelt?
Look for volunteer(s) to go to Channel 11 and look through old boxes of tapes to see if there are interviews that should be kept.
