Vision Exercise
If you could come back in 5 years, and view the Sunshine Coast and the SCMA, what would it look like?
What would the museum be doing successfully? What initiatives would the museum have led, and what would their results have been?
What heritage-positive things would have happened elsewhere on the coast?
What kind of budget would the museum have, where would the funding be coming from? What staffing?
What would the staff and board be doing with other heritage organizations and people on the coast?
What else do you see? What are you proud of having been involved with or in charge of?
Please answer these questions on your own page, and add anything else you want. Have look at other people's ideas and extend them if you want. I need something here that you can all buy in to. What would you be prepared to work on, to be in charge of?

As you may remember, I am working with the Sunshine Cost museum on a Regional Heritage Plan.
We are planning a meeting in the near future to unveil the information and plan we have been working on for the SCMA, and to discuss the details of forming a regional heritage working group.
Meanwhile, I'd like to ask you all to send me a couple of sentences describing what you envision the Sunshine Coast Museum and archives doing for you or the community. In the next five years, in the best of worlds, how will the SCMA have worked with your group to improve or develop heritage? What resources will they need to do this?
I appreciate your help and feedback. I know you are all busy, so if you could answer this quickly with a couple of words or sentences now, while you are looking at it, it will done and will help immensely in developing the vision for the museum.
